Whilst Fiona McNeill has obtained a Master of Arts degree in Theology from Scotland’s prestigious Glasgow University, her true passion in life is music.  Fiona, who has been playing guitar for over a decade, plays in the folk rock band Reely Jiggered with her sister, fiddler and vocalist, Alison McNeill along with cousin and percussionist, Scott McLean.

She has also become fondly recognised as the bands littlest member with the biggest voice, frequently entertaining crowds with her witty banter and honest approach to music and people. This had led to Fiona working as MC for the Music Tent at the famous World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow this year in Glasgow Green.

Fiona is also well known as a radio producer and presenter for her popular show “Celtic & Folk Fusions” on Inverclyde Radio and Dunoon Community Radio.

Her shows give a broader view of celtic and folk music from all over the world, while advertising upcoming gigs across Scotland and interviewing some of the most amazing artists our area has to offer.   These artists include Duncan Chisholm (Wolfstone), Donnie Munro (former singer of Runrig), Gary Innes (Manran) and Donald Shaw (Capercaillie/Artistic Director of Glasgow’s Celtic Connections).
